Women’s Yoga Fitness Pants Giveaway – Ends 04/09

Recently, I was invited to check out 13Deals.com and select an item for review. 13Deals offer all kinds of items, from apparel to housewares to toys. With the weather warming up, I’ve been thinking how I need a few extra pairs of workout pants that I can wear for hikes and outdoor exercise, so I decided to try out a pair from their store. And one Contest Corner reader will win their own pair of Women’s Yoga Fitness Pants from 13Deals, so read on!

These Women’s Yoga Fitness Pants retail for $8.99 with free shipping and are currently available in medium and large; small and extra large are sold out. There was no sizing chart that I could find, so I decided to go with a large, since that seemed like a pretty safe bet. The color selection is random; I received black with a hot pink waistband – my favorite colors! I thought they looked really cute.

When I tried the pants on, I observed that the sizing definitely runs on the smaller side. The pants were very tight, especially around my calves and thighs, to the point where I wouldn’t really be able to flex enough to workout in them. They were comfortable enough to wear out and about under a dress, but the waistband was ill-fitting because of the pants being too small on me, so it slid down quickly. I wore these on four different occasions, and determined that they just slip down too much for me to be able to comfortably wear them, since I don’t want to have to pull my pants up constantly. They did, however, look very cute and I got compliments on how I looked in them:

I laundered these pants 4 times, washing on cold as directed. The fabric is a very thin Nylon/Spandex blend, and I noticed a lot of loose strings to cut off prior to the first wash. Because of the thin fabric and the fact that the size was just too small for me, two small holes ripped in the fabric where the waistband meets the pant. Obviously, tight pants are going to have the tendency to do that. 😉 I think if I’d had an extra large, they would have worked out better.

The pros of these pants are the cute colors and low price; the cons are that the sizes run small and the fabric is thin. For more information, you can click here to visit the 13Deals product page.
