My review:
This gift basket was right up my alley, because it was so useful. First of all, it comes with items that every kitchen can use. There’s a nice metal colander, which is very handy to have on hand, and a big serving spoon – can’t have too many of those! I was especially pleased with the cheese grater, because I’ve been meaning to buy a new one. The ones I have aren’t very good, so this will be a big help.
I also received a box of Romano’s Creamy Basil Parmesan Chicken Pasta dinner kit, and tried it out for dinner last night. The kit is designed to be a meal in a box, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much is actually included. The box contained noodles, a seasoning packet, creamy sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and a packet of grated cheese. All I had to do was add meat, milk, and a bit of butter. Being ever-thrifty and an adventerous cook, I decided to substitute pork for the chicken.
I knew this would be a hit, because Jai was sneaking bites before I even served it up. The pasta was very yummy and had a great flavor – Jai said it was “Really, really good, like pasta you’d get in a restaurant”. It was great with the pork, and it made a lot more than what you see in the picture; we both had seconds and then ate the leftovers for lunch today. Mmm!
My kit also came with coupons for three more complimentary boxes, so I’m looking forward to having several more hassle-free, delicious meals.
Win it!

My biggest struggle is finding things that EVERYONE will eat. Sometimes, I think the husband is harder to get to eat then the little ones! Also, chasing babies I need to be able to make something to eat quick!

My biggest problem is time. I work 40 hours a week and have three small kids. It is hard to find time to get the kids settled after daycare and to get a good dinner on the table.
My biggest problem is not having something I need. It seems like I’m always out of something!
