I had a very odd dream this morning. In my dream, Jai and I were in the middle of a crowded parking lot, trying to operate a crane. We were using the crane to lift a heavy cinder block, and because we didn’t have much room to maneuver, it all went awry and we ended up denting a minivan. Flash forward to this afternoon in the real world, where I find myself writing this review of Associated Training Services, a heavy equipment operator training school. Do you think this is some sort of sign that I ought to become a forklift operator or something?
OK, maybe not, but if you have ever wanted to attend heavy equipment school, you might be interested in this site. According to their website, ATS has been around since 1959, and offers certification for those pursuing a career that utilizes heavy construction equipment. The site is clean and crisp, and appears to have some useful information on their classes – however, I did encounter an error when I tried to load their “Locations” page. It kept refreshing and would not actually load; I tried to view it on both Firefox and Chrome. So if you want more information on their locations, I would advise sending an email via their contact page until the bug gets fixed. I may not be destined for a real-life career in crane operation, but if you are, going to school is the first step to making your dream come true!
