This afternoon I am reviewing the website of American Residential Law Group, a law firm based in Florida. If you’re in need of a lawyer, there are an overwhelming number of law firms to choose from – and that is not a decision I would take lightly. I’m the type of person who will scour the Internet, phone book, newspaper, etc., and call dozens of places before taking the next step. So, what does American Residential Law Group’s website tell the visitor who might be considering their services?
First off, the site is fast to load with a layout that is easy to navigate. There are short biographies of each lawyer, information about the firm, and links to coverage about the firm in the media. The website is pretty well thought out – I like how the “Contact Us” page included a map for ease of locating their office – but I noticed that a lot of the links on the “News” page were broken. For example, there was a link to an MSNBC articled titled “American Residential Law Group Saves Client Over $80K”, but the link leads to a “Not found” error on MSNBC’s site.
A website for any legal firm is really just a jumping-off point to collect relevant phone numbers and names of people to contact – obviously, you can’t know anything about a lawyer until you talk to them yourself (and compare with other law firms!). But as a website goes, this does a pretty good job of providing the information that the reader needs.
Great review of the site and very honest! Thanks 🙂
