I’ve said many times before that I think skin care products are a top gift idea for women. So today, I’ve got a treat for you – because one lucky Contest Corner reader will win a Tropical Traditions Skin Care Gift Bag, perfect for gift giving, so read on!
Tropical Traditions sent me a Lavender Cinnamon/Peppermint Skin Care Package, which comes with two Lavender Moisturizing Creams, one Lavender Soap, and a Cinnamon/Peppermint Lip Moisturizer, packaged in a cute little gift bag – just the right size to tuck into mom’s stocking! I’ve been thoroughly enjoying these products ever since they arrived. The soap is very moisturizing and has a wonderful Lavender aroma, which goes perfectly with the lotion. I’ve reviewed Tropical Traditions’ lotion before – click here to read my last review – and this is the same formula, but with a lovely Lavender scent. It absorbs into my skin fairly fast, so I re-apply it often. Because my skin is so extremely thirsty and dry, I usually use a hand lotion that has a slick top coating so my hands don’t dry out; so it works best for me to use this in conjunction with another lotion for optimal results. That being said, I think that this is a great, in-depth moisturizing treatment that is particularly good for rough spots, like elbows.
The Cinnamon/Peppermint lip balm is very moisturizing and great for my dry lips. The cinnamon tingles a bit when you first apply it – people who are sensitive to cinnamon may not care for the sensation, but I have very sensitive skin and have had no problems with it so far.
