Tropical Traditions Massage Oil Review

Tropical Traditions Massage Oil Review

I recently reviewed a jar of coconut oil from Tropical Traditions. I enjoyed preparing my food with it – and this versatile oil can be used outside the kitchen, too. Tropical Traditions sent me an 8 ounce bottle of their unscented massage oil to try out, which is made from organic virgin coconut oil, organic jojoba, and organic virgin palm oil.

Earlier in the month, I had my first-ever professional massage. It was wonderful, and since my back gets tense a lot, it was much needed. But going to a masseuse every week isn’t practical for a lot of us (alas!), so I welcomed a frugal alternative. Jai and I acted as amature masseurs, and took turns giving each other back rubs in order to test this out.

This is different from a lot of massage oils, because it isn’t sticky or greasy – the oil absorbs right into the skin, so there’s no need to wash it off. It’s highly moisturizing, so it serves a double purpose as both a massage oil and body lotion. It worked great and has no added fragrances, but does have a natural coconut aroma that’s pleasant. Our verdict: We both like this oil, and we both liked having an excuse to get a massage!

A bottle of unscented Tropical Traditions massage oil currently costs $12.50. If you do decide to purchase some because of this post, I’d appreciate it if you could give me a shout-out and cite my user ID (5043098) under “Referred by”, as I am participating in their referral program.
