TERRO Spider Killer & Outdoor Ant Killer Giveaway – Ends 12/13

I’m always happy when a box from TERRO shows up. Although I live in harmony with bugs as much as possible, I don’t want them getting into my space and will do what it takes to evict them when they intrude. My latest shipment of products to test were TERRO’s Spider Killer and Outdoor Ant Killer.

I had my first opportunity to use TERRO Spider Killer when I opened up my front door to walk outside, and saw that a spider had built a web right across the doorway overnight. If I hadn’t noticed, I would’ve gotten a face-full of spider! I retreated back into the house and grabbed my can of Spider Killer. I sprayed it all over the eight-legged intruder – far more than I needed to, I’m sure! – and it fell on the ground. You could see the spider slow down and after a minute or two, it stopped twitching and was dead. I could have shared a photo of the big fat spider to prove that this product works, but I knew if I put a spider picture on this blog, half of you would have a panic attack and take a baseball bat to your monitor. 😉 I’m not phobic of spiders and I actually feel kind of bad killing them, but sometimes it’s just me versus them and I really don’t want them living somewhere that they can crawl on me!

I know this product is meant to be used more as an overall spray for trouble areas where spiders pop up, but it worked on a one-on-one basis quite nicely too. 😉 It’s also meant to repel other creepy crawlies like cockroaches and ants, which is useful.

We also received a bag of TERRO® Outdoor Ant Killer with Multi-Purpose Insect Control. We’ve used other TERRO ant products with success before, and this one is great because you can shake it around the perimeter of your home with the aim of repelling both ants and other ickies such as fleas and cockroaches. We are glad to have this in our arsenal so that we can be prepared the next time those ants rear their heads!
