Teas’ Tea Giveaway – Ends 07/31

It’s summer, which means that the weather is heating up everywhere, including Seaside. I know our idea of “Hot” on the Oregon coast is nothing compared to other parts of the country, but just remember that we’re not used to it and almost none of us have A/C, so we really feel it! 😉 Last week, Jai and I drove into Portland to visit the Oregon Zoo, and I knew it was going to be a scorcher since PDX can get very hot; so I made sure to bring a few cold drinks along so we’d have something to keep us hydrated in the car. It was good timing, since I had just received a package from Teas’ Tea containing their Pure Green Tea and their Green Tea with Coconut. I wasn’t sure that we would drink all of it on the drive, since the bottles are a pretty good size – 16.9 ounces each – and then we got stuck in standstill traffic for an hour under the hot sun. We drank every last drop and I was so glad I had brought them!

Jai and I normally drink black tea with sugar and milk, so I’m not a huge fan of plain green teas although I do like to drink them sometimes and keep them around for guests. The mixture of green tea with coconut wasn’t for me, so I preferred the plain green tea; conversely, Jai thought the unsweetened was too tart and liked the coconut better! I think if you’re a green tea fan, you’ll enjoy a cold Teas’ Tea in the summer – they certainly kept us hydrated while we were on the road last week! 🙂
