Step Into Spring Fashion With Earth Footwear

With less than two weeks to go until spring starts, we can look forward to packing away the parkas and lightening up our wardrobes. As someone who has been taking beachfront walks every other day as part of my physiotherapy, I can’t wait to stop bundling up so much! You know I love fashion, so I’m definitely excited for cocktail dress weather.

Naturally, your look isn’t complete without shoes. I am a high heel junkie, so I was super excited to receive a pair of The Bonsai shoes by Earth Footwear. The shoes I received are classic black, and are versatile – and comfortable! – enough to go from casual to work to evening wear. Now sadly, since I am recovering from a knee injury, I have to wear a special pair of (Ugly!) orthopedic sneakers until I’m back to 100%. But I was still able to try these shoes on and wear them briefly so that I could see what they were like, and let me tell you, I am so excited to wear these once I’m done with my outpatient program! As the weather warms up I can also look forward to the continued improvement of my knees, so here’s hoping that I can wear these by summer!

To be honest, I’ve never spent that much on shoes in my life, but I know I’m in the minority here! 🙂 These shoes are all made from real leather, so it will be cool to see if they are more durable than my other shoes. Since I was only able to wear them for a few minutes, I can’t say personally how they feel after a long day on your feet at work, but they felt good when I tried them on so I’m optimistic about how they will perform long-term. Now, to get my knees back to normal so I can find out!
