The Spin & Go Touchless Mop is a new innovation that aims to simplify mopping. Want to try a new “Spin” on cleaning? One lucky Contest Corner reader will win a Spin & Go mop of their own, so read on!
The thing I dislike most about mopping is wringing out the mop – it always seems to be a messy, cumbersome affair. So when I heard about the Spin & Go Mop, I was immediately intrigued. This mop comes with a wringer built right into the bucket – simply insert the mop head, step on the pedal, and the mop is wrung out automatically.
Spin & Go sent me one of their mops to try out for myself, and the timing was perfect: My mop arrived right as we were wrapping up some renovations, so I immediately used it to mop up construction debris in the bathroom. The photo you see above was taken during my first use of the mop last month – since then, I have used it for many other cleaning tasks around the house. I love the built-in wringer: No more fumbling to wring out a messy, dirty mop head! The pedal that powers the wringer gets the mop head spinning very fast, so it gets out the water much more effectively than anything else I’ve used. You can step on the pedal more or less depending on how much water you need in the mop – this is a great way to avoid slopping water everywhere, and helps my floor dry faster. The mop head is flexible, which is nice for getting into nooks and crannies.
The only downside I could see to this product is the fact that it’s all made out of plastic, so I wonder how long the wringer will hold up; however, I’ve had no problems thus far. The mop handle screws together in two pieces, and occasionally it will loosen and come apart, but this hasn’t affected anything I was doing and it screws back in easily. Bear in mind, the wringer spins extremely fast, and I do notice that a small mist of mop water radiates out – so if you’re wearing a dress like the pretty model on the box, be forewarned that you will probably get a sprinkling of mop water on your legs!

What a great product! My favorite features are the adjustable handle and NEVER having to touch the mop head. I despise wringing out a mop with my bare hands. Yuck!

I like the reusable mophead!
My favorite feature is the fact that I don’t have to wring the mop out with just my hands–even with extra help from the design, I always have trouble with other mops because of the size of my hands.

That it comes with the bucket!
I LOVE that it saves Effort, Time, and Energy with built in spinning cycle, powers up with a pedal to spin away dirty water, leaving it ready to attack more grime, dirt and dust.
