Last week, I told you about “The Great Apple Debate” Twitter contest from Sidral Mundet, and mentioned that we’d be featuring a review of their sodas soon. I’ve since had a chance to taste-test these delicious sodas, so I’d like to share my thoughts on them!
Sidral Mundet is an apple-flavored soft drink from Mexico that has been around since 1902. Made from natural apple juice and 100% real sugar, Sidral Mundet comes in two flavors: Original and Manzana Verde (Green Apple). We received a bottle of each flavor to sample, and Jai and I both enjoyed them very much. The soda comes in cool glass bottles and has an awesome flavor. The “Original” variety is flavored like red apples – it has the great taste of apple juice, except that it is not acidic, which I love. Jai and I agreed that the Green Apple was our favorite, because it has a rich, sweet taste that really stands out.
You can keep up with the latest on Sidral Mundet by becoming a fan of them on Facebook. While you’re there, you’ll also have a chance to win daily prizes, including sodas, iPods, gift cards and more!
We received complimentary soda samples for the purpose of this review.
