RoseArt & The Write Dudes: School Supplies, Stocking Stuffers, or Both?

Whether you’re sending your kids off to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic, or just preparing to pull your own 9-5 shift at the cubicle, you’re going to need office supplies. Now that the back-to-school rush has ended and the dreariness of rainy days begins to sink in, it might be time to liven up your school or work day!

RoseArt and The Write Dudes are sister companies that offer supplies to put the FUN back in functional. I received a large, complimentary box full of their most popular products to test out, and I can tell you that we were most happy to receive them here at the Contest Corner office!

Let’s start with The Write Dudes. These bros provided us with something we always seem to need: Pens!! You might have noticed the little sign I made in the photo above – I created that with the pens I received. For my distinctive tastes, the 5-pack of COSMO Retractable Ballpoint Pens was perfect. These gel pens come in bright colors like pink and purple, and write so smoothly. I love them!

Jai, on the other hand, was glad to have the EDGE Retractable Ballpoint Black Ink Pens 5-pack. These are classic, no-nonsense pens with a metallic appearance. I personally found that the gel pens wrote more consistently for me, but Jai is a big fan of these and likes the retracting mechanism.

And of course, what would an office be without pencils? For the no-nonsense, a 12-pack of No. 2 pencils might be just the thing; for the girlie, you might try a value pack of flower-patterned pencils, erasers, and a sharpener.

Finally, we have some of the coolest erasers I’ve ever seen! Check out these “Scribble Stuff” erasers, shaped like fast food and desserts. In addition to being erasers, they are also 3-D puzzles which can be disassembled. I think these would make awesome stocking stuffers because they’re so neat! Also, all the Write Dudes products that I’ve highlighted here range in price from $1.99 to $4.49, so it won’t break the bank either.

Meanwhile, RoseArt has some great products for the budding artiste! Of course, there are classics like watercolors and crayons, pencils (Both regular and neon & metallic!), broadline markers, and washable glue sticks, as well as some new and creative products. I just love this 31 piece set of Glitter Magic Markers that includes Metallic Gel Paints, Glitter Glue & Confetti Glitter Glues. Is this awesome or what? I think it would make a great surprise for a kid that loves to craft or paint – another great holiday gift idea, in my opinion!

Another fun, gift-worthy item are these Color Blanks figurines. These come complete with markers and stickers so kids can create their own original toy! I know I would have loved this when I was a kid because I was crazy about art!
