ValueRays offer a variety of heated computer accessories to increase your comfort while working at your desk. From heated mice to warming keyboard pads, ValueRays have all kinds of products to take the chill out of the winter months. And one lucky Contest Corner reader will win a ValueRays USB Mouse Hand Warmer, so read on!
My Take:
As a journalist, I work at a desk all day writing articles. Recently, I began to develop pain in my wrists, and I knew I had to take action to reduce the strain from using a keyboard all day. One of things I began looking into was getting an ergonomic wrist rest to put on my desk. I had a chance to review ValueRays® HEATED Computer Keyboard Pad, and it’s become a permanent fixture in my office. The pad is powered by your USB port, and it begins to heat up as soon as you plug it in. I was amazed by not only how much heat it can produce, but how quickly it heats up – it reaches its full temperature in seconds. The heat is very soothing and feels nice as you’re typing. At first it felt a little awkward to have my keyboard pushed further back, but I soon got used to it; and having a comfortable place to rest my hands makes a difference. If I take the pad away and start typing without it, I can immediately feel more strain in my wrists – I couldn’t do without having a pad for support now that I know how much better it feels. Just using one product won’t eliminate my repetitive stress pains; I have also begun doing wrist and arm stretches throughout the workday, as well as purchasing an ergonomically designed mouse. But it’s important to make your workspace as comfortable as possible, and this keyboard pad has helped to reduce my discomfort. And of course, if you are suffering from any sort of pain, numbness, or other physical problem, consult with a medical professional immediately for treatment before embarking on any lifestyle changes.
Win it!

From the ValueRays’ Learning Center I learned about Buerger’s disease:
Buerger’s disease, too known as thromboangiitis obliterans. Buerger’s disease is an uncommon and incendiary disorder affecting incidental blood vessels and resulting in pain, ulceration, thrombosis and Raynaud’s phenomenon. Buerger’s disease is characterized by a combination of inflammation and clots in the blood vessels, which impairs blood flowing. Approximately 40% of the patients have a story of inflammation of a vein (phlebitis), which may beat a character in the growth of Buerger’s disease This finally damages or destroys tissues and may head to transmission and gangrene. Buerger’s disease normally begins in the hands and feet.
Watched ValueRays’ video presentation. I’d seen it once before, and it reinforced my knowledge that it would help me with my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, and I also learned about the wonderful effects of infrared heat.
