Puppet Monsters, Puppet Monsters, you can change ’em! You can wear ’em! If you are a Seen-On-TV product lover as I am, you may have heard this jingle. Since I’ve cut the cord from cable and moved over to Netflix, I don’t see as many of these adverts as I used to, so my first exposure to Puppet Monsters was when I received an email inviting me to review a complimentary monster of my choice. It immediately caught my attention, and when I clicked through to BuyPuppetMonsters.com and saw the commercial, I started cracking up and knew I had to check these out.
So what, you ask, is a “Puppet Monster”? These creations are a fun hat with long spindly arms, which you can insert your fingers into and control as a combination puppet/hat. They come in a variety of colors, with removable facial features – you can select an extra accessory kit and swap around the puppet’s eyes, mouth, and so on. I thought this was a really funny and cute idea! After looking at all the options, I decided to pick “Jumbo Eyes”, just because his face made me laugh the most!
Puppet Monsters are an obvious choice for a child’s birthday gift or holiday – what a fun toy! Jumbo Eyes is also large enough to fit an adult head, so if you’re a grownup looking for a hat to wear to your next rave, then this will fit the bill for that as well. 😉 This puppet comes with a little fabric orange cube with a plastic insert, so you can prop your Puppet Monster up and display him on a shelf when it’s not being worn.
If you’re ready to snag your own hat-and-puppet combination, visit BuyPuppetMonsters.com. Each monster retails for $19.95 plus shipping and handling, with the option of adding an accessory kit for $6.95 shipping and handling.
