A weather alert was issued for our area last night, warning of extreme winds and flooding. There is a possibility that our power could get knocked out during this storm – in fact, the power browned out as I was typing this! – so I just wanted to give my readers the heads-up so that you’ll know what’s going on if I mysteriously disappear for a few days! 😉 We had a hurricane in December 2007 that knocked out our power for around 4 1/2 days, so we’re always prepared for the worst when a storm hits!
