Personally, I think it’s a lot of fun to come up with creative stocking stuffers for adults. While we may not be getting toys and candy in our socks – well, at least not as much as the kids 😉 – we can get little trinkets that will come in handy all year long. One such example is Pilot Pens, who recently sent me a variety of samples packaged complete in a stocking. How cute is that?! My stocking is seen above, hanging off my Matrix poster. We don’t have a fireplace, so that’s where the stockings go in this house! Ha!
The stocking came filled with some really nice pens, from the G2 gel ink pen from the really unique eco-friendly B2P, or “Bottle to Pen”. This pen is actually made from re-purposed water bottles – isn’t that interesting? It also writes very nicely and I’ve been loving having it on hand to scribble down all my notes with. Pens are a must for a writer, naturally!
For a slightly fancier present, you could always go for a Metropolitan pen, a weighty silver pen that has a classic look – mine came packaged in a black box ideal for gifting. This pen is actually sitting on my desk right now, as I’ve been using it to notate items in my planner. Quite nice!
Pilot Pens range in price from $2.84 for a two-pack of G2 pens to $18.75 for the fountain version of the Metropolitan pen. Their pens can be located at retailers such as Walmart and CVS as well as online at PilotPen.us.
My husband is always looking for a pen for work, this is a good idea for him.
As odd as it sounds this would be a great stocking stuffer for my son. He’s always begging for more pens.
I like this idea..
i love pens and get so angry when someone takes my special ones from my notebook. I never thought about it but these are probably a great idea for my daughter!
Melinda, I hate when my special pens disappear too! LOL!
