We love cookies in this household, so when our friends over at MyBlogSpark asked if I’d like to try out the new “Simply…” line of refrigerated cookies, my answer was a resounding “Yes!”. And one lucky Contest Corner reader will receive a prize pack containing a cookie jar, a coupon good for a free package of Simply…Cookies, and a tote bag, so read on!
My Take:
After I received my package, I took my tote bag and coupon to the store so that I could pick up a package of “Simply…”. I love this bag – it’s made out of sturdy canvas, which enables you to carry quite a lot; it’s become one of my favorite grocery totes.
I decided on a package of Simply…Chocolate Chip Cookies, because that’s my favorite kind of cookie! Usually, I bake everything from scratch, so this was such a change because it was so fast and effortless. I didn’t even have to cut the dough – it comes pre-separated, so all you have to do is put the dough mounds on a tray and stick them in the oven. This would be great for anyone who wants a nice warm cookie without spending a lot of time in the kitchen.
Simply…Cookies aim to taste as homemade as possible, so they contain no trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Jai and I both enjoyed these cookies and thought they were most delicious!
So what did I do with my batch of cookies? I put them in my new cookie jar, of course!

p.s. The word verification for my post seems quite appropriate – oven tsp. 🙂
I plan my meals ahead of time. This gives me an opportunity to shop for all I am making.
I love my crockpot! You can start it in the morning and dinner will be done in the evening! Easy clean-up too!

I keep things simple by planning easier meals on busier days and the meals that require more time/preparation on days when we have more time.

I keep my cooking simple by planning ahead. Knowing what you’re going to make and having all the ingredients makes nearly any task a lot simpler and easier.
I have several cookbooks that are based on recipes that only require 5 or less ingrediants! I enjoy cooking that way, because I spend less money.

One way I keep cooking simple is when I come home from the grocery store, I split my meat into meal sizes and put them in freezer bags. All I have to do is a grab a bag of meat for the night and cook!
