We love cookies in this household, so when our friends over at MyBlogSpark asked if I’d like to try out the new “Simply…” line of refrigerated cookies, my answer was a resounding “Yes!”. And one lucky Contest Corner reader will receive a prize pack containing a cookie jar, a coupon good for a free package of Simply…Cookies, and a tote bag, so read on!
My Take:
After I received my package, I took my tote bag and coupon to the store so that I could pick up a package of “Simply…”. I love this bag – it’s made out of sturdy canvas, which enables you to carry quite a lot; it’s become one of my favorite grocery totes.
I decided on a package of Simply…Chocolate Chip Cookies, because that’s my favorite kind of cookie! Usually, I bake everything from scratch, so this was such a change because it was so fast and effortless. I didn’t even have to cut the dough – it comes pre-separated, so all you have to do is put the dough mounds on a tray and stick them in the oven. This would be great for anyone who wants a nice warm cookie without spending a lot of time in the kitchen.
Simply…Cookies aim to taste as homemade as possible, so they contain no trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Jai and I both enjoyed these cookies and thought they were most delicious!
So what did I do with my batch of cookies? I put them in my new cookie jar, of course!

With being a working Mom, I try to keep cooking simple by preparing a number of items at one time and freezing them for later meals. I also tend to cook up prepared items that are quick and simple to cook. Thanks so much.

I tend to use ready made jars of pasta sauce or curry. I just have to heat them up and serve with pasta or naan. Easy!

I make up meals in advance and have them ready for the week to fix for my family. It saves alot of time in the kitchen and it’s so easy to just take out of the freezer and just pop it right into the oven.

I try to keep ingredients on hand for an impromptu baking of cookies on hand. The general cookie that goes over very well with every one is just the ordinary Chocolate Chip that is just easy to make . Keep abit of frozen dough in the freezer and there is always a cookie or two to go in the oven.
I keep it simple by having simple tastes in food. I like things plain, not a lot of seasoning. and I am perfectly happy getting a rotisserie chicken and making chicken tacos, chicken sandwich or just eating by itself.
