Pillsbury Simply… Cookies – Review & Giveaway

Pillsbury Simply… Cookies – Review & Giveaway

We love cookies in this household, so when our friends over at MyBlogSpark asked if I’d like to try out the new “Simply…” line of refrigerated cookies, my answer was a resounding “Yes!”. And one lucky Contest Corner reader will receive a prize pack containing a cookie jar, a coupon good for a free package of Simply…Cookies, and a tote bag, so read on!

My Take:

After I received my package, I took my tote bag and coupon to the store so that I could pick up a package of “Simply…”. I love this bag – it’s made out of sturdy canvas, which enables you to carry quite a lot; it’s become one of my favorite grocery totes.

I decided on a package of Simply…Chocolate Chip Cookies, because that’s my favorite kind of cookie! Usually, I bake everything from scratch, so this was such a change because it was so fast and effortless. I didn’t even have to cut the dough – it comes pre-separated, so all you have to do is put the dough mounds on a tray and stick them in the oven. This would be great for anyone who wants a nice warm cookie without spending a lot of time in the kitchen.

Simply…Cookies aim to taste as homemade as possible, so they contain no trans fat, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. Jai and I both enjoyed these cookies and thought they were most delicious!

So what did I do with my batch of cookies? I put them in my new cookie jar, of course!

  1. I make out the menues for the week while I’m doing my grocery list. I also make more than I need and freeze the rest.

  2. I try to make extra when I am cooking sauces, chili, stews, lasagne, etc so that I can freeze them for a quick dinner another day.

  3. We keep our cooking simple
    by doubling every dish
    so we only cook once
    every two nights—
    and our leftovers are delish!

  6. I try to cook enough every other day, so we can have a good meal the first night and then something else on the second night that uses night one for its basic ingredients.
