30 years ago, Andy Warhol created a series of works based on Perrier bottles. When I heard about these special bottles, I thought it was just too fitting – the pop culture master’s advertising artwork, being used in advertising! Warhol is one of my favorite artists and I think he would have been fascinated by blogs and the Internet. Can you imagine the works he’d be creating today? If only he could have seen how right he was about the 15 minutes of fame.

The bottles are too fun, and in addition of being artistic, my case of water was very well-traveled. I got the shipment right before our big trip to Washington in August, so I loaded the water into the car for our road trip. I can’t tell you how handy this was – we were guzzling Perrier the whole trip. In fact, when we were waiting for the ferry on Orcas Island, we got some bottles out of our trunk because it was a super hot day. We were with a big group of friends, and we asked if anyone else would like some water since we had a ton of water we could share. As it turned out, our friends were super happy because they were all about to find a grocery store and buy something to drink. So not only did it keep up hydrated, but our friends as well!
