Well, we have recovered from Thanksgiving and are ready to share this week’s Nutrisystem weigh-in!

So we’ve recovered from the “Thanksgiving bloat”! I shook off last week’s gain, losing 1.2 pounds and getting down to my lowest weight thus far on this journey; meanwhile, Jai is down 2 pounds since last week. It’s a relief that November is over – while I know December will have plenty of challenges, my intense work onslaught is over. Over the weekend I took my first days off since October! I’ve learned a lot in the last month about not only what I need to do to be healthier and take better care of myself, but how I want to move forward and grow with my business.

In terms of what we did last week in terms of our diet program – I’m not sure I could even tell you, because the entire week is a blur! We pretty much stuck to the plan, although I’ve been skipping a lot of in-between items like PowerFuels and my shakes just out of busyness or forgetting. I do recall at one point eating two desserts in one day, but I don’t know if that was this week or Thanksgiving week. I know – NAUGHTY! 😉 What I can say with certainty is that I did not exercise at all last week and indeed, I barely moved from my chair. I noticed yesterday that my back was hurting a lot, likely from being hunched over a computer 24/7 for a month and getting no exercise. Jai painted a room in our house last week so he got a little more activity in than I did, but no exercise other than that. We are both majorly relieved that November is over and have already taken steps to make sure that we’ll get a lot more rest and have time to take care of ourselves in December. And we’re already off to a good start, so hooray!

  1. Exercise is my main issue- I can eat right all day long but it takes a lot for me to stop doing the million things on my to-do list & just MOVE! You guys are both doing excellent though!

  2. You guys Rock! Don’t know how you can stick to such a strict regimen but you are doing wonderful..and the numbers don’t lie.
