Can you believe we’ve been on Nutrisystem for ten weeks already? Wow! Here is this week’s weigh-in:

Beeb’s Weigh-In:

Beeb's Weight - Week 10

Starting Weight: 164.5 lbs
Week 10 weight: 153 lbs
Total Weight Lost: 11.5 lbs
Goal Weight: 110 lbs

My measurements for this week were 10.5″ on the upper arms, 39.5″ on the chest, 32.5″ on the waist, 40″ on the hips, and 19″ on the thighs. That’s .5″ down on the hips, 1″ down on the thighs, and .5″ up on the chest from last week, with the arms and waist remaining the same.

Jai’s Weigh-In:

Jai's Weight - Week 10

Starting Weight: 217.5 lbs
Week 10 Weight: 190.6 lbs
Total Weight Lost: 26.9 lbs
Goal Weight: 158 lbs

Jai’s measurements this week were 13″ on the upper arms, 40.5″ on the chest, 40″ on the waist, 39″ on the hips, and 23″ on the thighs. That’s .5″ down on the arms, .5″ lost on the chest, 2″ up on the waist, 1″ up on the thighs, with the hips remaining the same. We do our best to measure the exact same spot each week, but there is a bit of variation in the numbers each time since it’s really hard to get the identical place you measured the week before. Maybe this is because we take the measurements early in the morning before we have any coffee. 😉 We don’t mind though, it’s a helpful gauge along with the scale to see our overall progress.

So it was another good week! I lost .8 lbs while Jai lost 1.6 lbs. My knees are feeling really strong so I’ve been able to do a lot around the house and go for more walks. Jai continues to go running – in fact, what we do is walk together, and on our way home he does his run and then runs back to meet me. Once my knee function is 100% I look forward to jogging with him again!

Other than that, we just keep on keeping on. It’s effortless to stay on track with all the Nutrisystem meals pre-made for us! I’ve been continuing to drink lots of water and eat my veggies, although I didn’t get in as many carrots last week as I had intended to. I’m also making an effort to drink more than two bottles of water when it gets hot so that I can stay hydrated. So it’s all good! We’re looking forward to week 11!

  1. Brett – that’s a great question! It’s hard to pick, so from the snacks I’ll say it’s a toss up between the cheese puffs, honey mustard pretzels, and the chocolates. For breakfasts, I love their double chocolate muffins – are we seeing a theme with my taste buds yet? 😉 For lunch, I love the chicken Cacciatore, cheese tortellini, and the red beans and rice with sausage. For dinnertime I often go for a pasta dish or steak. There’s so much variety that I feel spoilt for choice – it’s fun getting to pick new food all the time!

  2. I think having those prepared meals ready for you would be incredibly helpful. I’m working on losing weight too and I rely on my frozen meals because they’re pre-portioned too. It takes the temptation to overindulge out of it. You’re doing so great!

  3. I’m so happy for you your doing incrediable and you’ve caught me in weight. I really need to start doing something soon. Congrats on your weight loss and hubbys so far I think thats the best way to do a program is doing it together

  4. Wow! That is amazing progress so far! I know first hand how much work it is to lose the weight…. it’s a long road but it is so worth it in the end!

  5. my hubby and I do something similar with our run…I run the first mile with him and walk home while he does another 6. He runs marathons and I am SOOOO not up for that! Great job on the continues weight loss!
