Over the last few weeks, it seems I have been traveling non-stop. From Wyoming to Eugene, I’ve had a ton of business events, conferences and trips happening – and I’m here to say that Kushyfoot saved my feet! In the last few months, my knee condition has improved to the point where I could consider wearing regular shoes rather than my orthopedic sneakers. So, I began my search for a pair of dress flats that would look classy but offer the kind of support I need. I found this pair, which has been absolutely awesome:

These socks have been a life-saver – or should I say, foot-saver – for a number of reasons. First of all, they provide a little barrier between my foot and my shoe to help prevent rubbing – on particularly long days, I actually layer a pair of the Mary Jane black lace over the Super Ultra Low Cut Foot Covers so that it will provide the most coverage for my heel and prevent painful rubbing and chafing on the foot. (The Ultra Low Cut leaves more skin exposed for uncomfortable rubbing with these shoes, due to the fact that it is, as the name suggests, low cut) Second of all, they are cute and professional and come in enough colors to match every business outfit I have. And third, it provided a nice barrier between my feet and the floor when I went through security at the airport – in France, they give you little disposable booties to wear when you take your shoes off, but not in Portland. 😉
