I always look forward to getting a fortune cookie when I go out for Chinese food. They’re yummy, and it’s always fun to see what the my fortune is! My Take:
Fancy Fortune Cookies specialize in custom fortune cookies, where you get to create your own special message. These cookies have become very popular with everyone – even Oprah! – and they can add my name to their list of fans. What’s so fun about these cookies is that they also come in special flavors – everything from raspberry to chocolate covered. Fancy Fortune Cookies sent me a sample pack of their flavors so that I could try them all. I wasn’t sure how the different tastes would work as a fortune cookie, but they were delicious. The cookies were bright and fun to look at, and I “reviewed” the box in record time! We tried mint, cappuccino, blueberry, orange, strawberry, and cherry. They made a great companion piece to our Chinese leftovers!
The box we tried was a surprise pack with a variety of random fortunes, but you can customize the message to say whatever you want. I think this is a great idea for the holidays – imagine customizing a batch of cherry and mint cookies with a festive greeting (“Merry Christmas 2009 from the Smith family!”), and sending one out with each Christmas card!
