September 15th through October 15th marks National Hispanic Heritage Month. The League of United Latin American Citizens, or LULAC, has partnered with a number of cable companies to bring viewers “Diversity On Demand”, to highlight programming with historical, cultural, and entertainment value in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. According to LULAC National President Margaret Moran, this partnership is an important one: “We’re proud of our longstanding partnership with the cable industry because it provides an opportunity to share positive images of Latinos and allow viewers to watch compelling stories that tell the history and celebrate the many contributions Latinos have made,†says Moran.
To find more information about specific Diversity On Demand programming that is available in your market, please visit http://www.facebook.com/diversityondemand for a list of participating cable providers. We don’t…
We enjoy our favorite cuisine – Mexican food!
We don’t normally celebrate but maybe we will this year!
I love Spanish food
I didn’t know it was until now.
I didn’t realize until now that there was such a thing, to be honest.

Never knew about it before…..so we have never done anything to celebrate.
We went to the citys party they had for Hispanics this year

I celebrate by cooking Mexican food.
We live in a town that is 75% Hispanic, so we have special museum showings and festivals.
I will be honest. I am just learning that this celebration month exists, so I have never celebrated it before. Also, due to the fact that I have no Hispanic heritage in my family tree, nor in my partner’s, it is not something that we would generally celebrate. I support it though and think its wonderful!
We don’t celebrate it. I just learned of it.
We celebrate by making traditional dishes for every meal as well as looking at pictures of our ancestors and sharing stories with the new generation of their rich family history.

I love going to Cinco Da Mayo! I like mexcan food and the man I date is hispanic. That probably doesn’t count,Lol! Thank you for the great giveaway! 🙂
We don’t celebrate it and I am Hispanic. I think it’s more for new immigrants who have strong ties to their countries of origin. My family has been here for over a century so there are no ties to our country of origin.
