I hope all my readers had a very merry Christmas! We had a very nice time over the holiday. It was a busy weekend full of gift wrapping, bread making, visiting and catching up with family and friends, and other such festivities. We’ve started a new tradition of driving around on Christmas Eve looking at lights, which we did this year in a 2012 Kia Sorento – more to come on that later! When we got home, I put on the Yule Log on PBS – another tradition! – and finished wrapping presents. Christmas morning was spent at home relaxing, watching the Nutcracker and opening gifts. Later in the day we went over to a relative’s house for dinner with family; I’m still stuffed from all the delicious ham and cookies!
How did you spend your Christmas?
That sounds like a wonderful day. I love hearing about traditions people carry on!
We spent the holidays running around from place to place trying to see everyone before my husband’s chemo treatment/. It was a mess but at least it wasn’t cold.
We spent the day with family and had a great time!
Christmas was hard this year…but we got through…I love where you hang your stockings!
I love the way the tree lights show up in the picture! We had a quiet day at home with the kids. We napped. It was relaxing!
