In April, I had the pleasure of working with Phil and Liz Weaver on our
Break Pal membership giveaway. Now the Weavers are involved in another unique project –
Learning-Aids.com, a website that hopes to help children with
learning differences through a special program.
And one lucky Contest Corner reader will win a one-year membership to Learning-Aids.com – a $960 value.What is Learning-Aids.com?
Here is some information about the program, quoted from the Learning-Aids website:
“Our program was developed over the past twenty years and includes the following:
- Weekly brain retraining that rebuilds neural passages in the brain
- Daily and weekly sensory building activities
- Easy to understand instructions
- Workbooks for independent activities
- One hour weekly sessions
- 20 minute daily sessions
- Weekly lesson plans that are laid out for anyone to understand and use
- The tried and true formula for success that helps students achieve grade level success
Learning Link Technologies was founded by Lisa Harp, an educator, certified teacher, learning disability specialist, and educational therapist for over twenty years.”
Since I have no personal need for this system myself, I was unable to take Learning-Aids up on their offer of a doing a review on the program. However, I thought that some of my readers would still appreciate a chance to win a membership. This giveaway is offered for entertainment purposes only, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any medical condition. If you or a loved one have a learning disability or related medical condition, seek the advise of your physician before starting any treatment program.
Learning-Aids.com is putting the finishing touches on an online class that will launch in the next few weeks. And one Contest Corner reader will win a one-year membership to Learning-Aids.com before it is even available to the public – that’s a $960 value.

Let’s see, I have 4 reasons why I would love to use this.
1-#1 didn’t do so good on his stanford test and now has to go to summer school because of it.
2-#2 suffers from ADHD. He is a very smart and bright kid but I think this would help him academically.
3-#3 is very mature and smart for her age and I don’t want her to lose it.
4-#4 is still little but it’s never to early to learn.

My 7 year old would greatly benefit from this product. She tends to learn a little slower than others, so the extra reinforcement from Learning Aids would be wonderful for her!

This would be so awesome for my daughter . . . she has sensory based issues (SID) and has a really – (rreeaallyy) hard time in school. We have tried private tutoring , Kumon , private reading classes . . . everything just makes her mad or irritated. We don’t know what else to do . . . perhaps this is the key?

Great for my son…
My son is extremely bright, but suffers from an LD which affects his speech, we could use this.
I’d love this for my 7 year old who was very close to being held back this coming year!
I’d love to have this to challenge my two sons. Both are very bright and do well in school, but I’d love to have some way to encourage them to reach beyond the minimum in their academics!
Wow! I just looked over their program. I would love to try it – it looks like a totally different approach that organizes the brain to be able to learn.
I love this statement from their site – The problem: Students are presented with the same material that did not work in the first place. Nothing has been done to correct the problem.
Which takes me to my reason I would like to try this program – I withdrew my oldest from school because his problems in Math led to frustration which led to behavioral problems which led to low grades in subjects he excelled in which led to him feeling bad about himself. That is when I decided that I could bring him home and work to correct the problem.
Again, I would love to have the opportunity to try Learning-Aids.com. Thanks for the chance :))
