  14. I get my creative juices flowing by separating idea generation and writing. I set aside time to just think about ideas, and note down as many as I can think of. I also use that time to make a decision on what to write ahead of time. When most people have a block, it’s because they can’t make up their minds about something – so I make up my mind ahead of time. Then when the time comes for a writing session, I have to start with what I decided earlier and I have to work on it for 15 minutes. Usually by the end of the 15 minutes I’m warmed up and ready to go on anything.

  28. I talk to either my Grandson, or 1 of the children in the school where I am “The Nurse” – try asking a little one what they think, about ANYthing! The answers I get are sometimes hilarious, sometimes thought-provoking!!!!
