The final week of the Dial “Healthier You” Program focused on carving out “Me” time. It’s very true that stress and exhaustion do nothing to help your state of health, so this week wellness coach Amy Hendel shared tips on how to find time in your schedule to take care of yourself.
Like so many people, I’m a workaholic with a huge to-do list – and with Christmas less than one week away, my list of tasks certainly isn’t getting any smaller! But I know how much more efficient and productive I am when I get a good night’s sleep and take time out to rest. It’s a struggle for me to scale back, but burning both ends of the candle isn’t doing me any favors so I’m doing my best to change my approach. I’m trying to take the time to rest when I can and actually enjoy all the fun of the holiday season, instead of rushing through it all.
If any of my readers are also participating in the “Healthier You” program, I’d love to hear about your experience!
A good nights rest? What’s that. I so need one of those after the holidays, I’m so beat!
