A lot falls by the wayside when you have a debilitating injury. With my knees being so bad for so long, it hurt to stand for any length of time. As a result, I tried to get through my daily routine as quickly as possible, and this often meant not taking good care of my skin the way I normally would. I feel like I’ve aged about 10 years since I hurt my knees because my skin looks terrible!

Now that I’m recovering from these mobility issues, I’ve started taking much better care of my skin and trying to get things back on track. I recently noticed that the cleanser I was using was way past its expiration date. Oops! Time sure flies, especially when you’re out of commission for so long!

So when I had the opportunity to review a complimentary product of my choice from Dermagist, it was a no-brainer. This girl needs some new cleanser!!! I decided to try out their Therapeutic Cleansing Gel, which sounded like a good fit for my sensitive skin.

I’ve been using this cleanser morning and night for the last couple of days, and I really like it. Its consistency is a mix between a gel and a cream cleanser, and it has a very mild, more natural scent which would be good for those who don’t like their cosmetics to be highly fragranced. It gets the job done nicely and I am happy to add it to my shelf of NON-expired beauty items! 😉
