I’m never without a cup of coffee, so when I have the chance to try new varieties, it’s always fun. I recently had the pleasure of tasting a blend from a company called Coffee Bean Direct, who sent me a bag of their City Roast Colombian Supremo to try out. This coffee smells and tastes very nice – Jai and I had different opinions on the strength: He thought it was weaker than the coffee we were brewing previously, and I thought it was stronger! It has a dark roast taste but is still pretty smooth; I add a little extra cream and sugar to get the taste just the way I like it, while Jai seemed to add a little extra coffee when brewing it to make it stronger. 😉 We both agreed, however, that it was good! The only issue we encountered was that the resealable bag didn’t really seal – we couldn’t get the plastic zip top to lock in place.
