Are you worried about having a “Wardrobe malfunction”? Are you sick of wearing cumbersome layers in order to cover up? Then this giveaway is for you! One lucky Contest Corner reader will win a Cleava, so read on!
One trend I have noticed in recent years is that all the dresses in my size seem to be very low-cut. I’m not quite sure what proportions you’d need to have in order to pull it off, but for me I usually find that the dresses that I like are low-cut to the point of not being wearable – and by that I mean that my bra would be hanging out! I still buy these dresses, but wear a camisole underneath so that there’s no disasters! 😉 I end up having to pair a tank and sweater/shrug with so many of my dresses, which can get a little annoying – depending on the dress, it can disrupt the silhouette – kind of like “VPL”, but instead of panties, it’s tank top lines! Plus, wearing layers gets really oppressive in the summer. So when I heard of Cleava, I was intrigued. It sounded like just the thing for someone like me, who lives in pretty dresses but doesn’t have the, uh, “Assets” to fill them out appropriately! 😉
The concept of Cleava is pretty simple, as you can see in the diagram above. It snaps around your bra straps (Kind of like buttoning a onesie!) and hooks together to form a solid panel over your chest. Depending on the type of dress you’re wearing, you can adjust the snaps to make the Cleava looser or tighter. I really think this is ingenious! It works well and helps prevent embarrassing moments without adding a lot of bulk and hassle. The only critique I have is that it can bunch up, and the logo/snaps could possibly show. Also, when the fabric of your dress is clingy, like the one I’m wearing above, you can see the outline of the Cleava. However, I feel “Covered” in this and it adds comfort and peace of mind without having to bulk up with a cami. I think it’s a great invention and I will be wearing it often!

Im really small up top but I would wear this with a v neck just for more coverage.
I need it b/c I’m pregnant and all my regular shirts are showing too much now
for my low cut tops, especially with the colder weather
I have a few tops that are a little low for my taste. This would be nice to use with them.
I need a Cleava to deal with tops that are too revealing. This product will make my tops more modest!
Both my daughter and I could use these for our tops that like to go too low!
I do believe all of the concepts you have offered to your post. They’re really convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very brief for starters. Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.
Thanks to some surgical scars on my chest (and the modesty that comes with aging skin!) I no longer feel comfortable wearing low-cut or V-neck tops – but I also find it’s often too warm, too uncomfortable or just plain unflattering to wear many camisoles or other layering clothing. So I would love to have a number of Cleavas in a number of colors.
(Aside: I remember when I was growing up that we use to have “dickies) that would never stay in place. Thank goodness for this great advance thanks to Cleava!
I need it to have more modesty in nursing clothes.
I need a Cleava because my hoo hoos always show when I bend over no matter what shirt I wear.
I need a Cleava because it seems that every dress I buy is too low necked and always hanging open.
to give to my step daughter
I need this because I work with all men and like to be as conservative as possible, without sacrificing fashion. This would be a great help towards that goal!
Thanks for a great giveaway!
