I’m a big fan of all things caffeinated. I love coffee, of course, but I also enjoy other “Energy” products – I’ve sampled all kinds of energy drinks, energy “Shots”, and even an energy patch – I’m not kidding, it was a caffeinated patch that you stuck on your skin, Ã la a nicotine patch. I get a kick out of all the creative new products that companies are coming up with to give consumers an energy boost; so when I heard that there was now a caffeinated “Energy gummie bear”, I was immediately intrigued and wanted to try it out! I love candy, and I love energy drinks, so this sounded like a great idea to me.
I received a package in the mail recently with a complimentary selection of Loud Truck’s Energy Gummie line – two packages of the original Energy Gummie Bears and two packages of Movit Performance Gummies for Active Women. This arrived in the middle of a very hectic and exhausting week, so it was good timing! I sampled all the packages over the course of a few days in the hopes of getting a second wind as I dragged my tired feet around. The gummies are tasty, just like regular gummie bears – I didn’t notice any strange flavor, which is a plus; not all energy products are that palatable!
I felt like such a zombie that it was hard to tell if the gummies were giving me much of an energy boost; but if you drink 2 pots of coffee, eat a package of caffeinated gummie bears, and you still can’t open your eyes, you might be beyond hope at that point. 😉 Caffeine is one of those things that effects each individual differently – I have an extremely high caffeine tolerance (As you might have guessed!), while others might get jittery or sick from one cup of coffee.
With a novel concept, appealing taste, and good packaging, Loud Truck Energy Gummie Bears are sure to be a hit with exhausted college students around the country. Although they didn’t magically make up for my extreme lack of sleep, I enjoyed trying them out and would eat them again.

Ok, now THIS looks like something I would enjoy. I like the BOOST of something like this, but I dont drink coffee, and I dont like anything carbonated, so Red Bulls are out…. I gotta try these!!
