$25 Subway Gift Card Giveaway – Ends 02/21 #FebruANY

This past weekend, I invited a family friend over for dinner to celebrate his birthday. As I mulled over what to serve, I realized I had just the thing – a Subway gift card that I had just received in the mail in order to try out the latest $5 Footlong offerings! I decided to get a selection of footlongs and cut them into pieces to make a fun party platter. Yummy and no cooking on my part – can’t go wrong with that!

There were so many $5 Footlongs to choose from at Subway that it was really hard to decide what to order! I settled on a BLT, an Italian B.M.T, a Turkey Breast & Black Forest Ham, a Cold Cut Combo, and a Subway Club. To add even more variety, I chose different bread for each sandwich – and honestly, by the time I was done ordering, I couldn’t even remember which was which! The gentleman making the sandwiches was totally awesome and was doing a much better job at remembering what I wanted than I was – ha! He whipped up all five at once and was super helpful and nice. I went for a variety of veggies and told him to surprise me with the cheese selection on the sandwiches, since we like all the cheese they offer and I had already lost track of what I was buying at this point. 😉 It was all quite inexpensive and provided a lovely feast for my party – I served it with a nice homemade salad to round out the dinner. All the sandwiches were delicious, and since Jai and I are following a diet program, it’s nice to have a “Meal out” that is loaded with veggies. We sent the remaining sandwiches home with the guest of honor because there was so much food left!
