My apologies for the lack of posts! I was in the middle of drawing winners, writing posts, and scheduling the weekly Sweepstakes Saturday linky on Friday when our Internet was knocked out by a windstorm. I finally got back online about 15 minutes ago, so now I’m catching up! The storm also knocked out our power briefly, and resulted in a bizarre episode of large marble-sized hail. I realize that large hail is very common in many parts of the country, but we’ve never seen anything like that here in Seaside, so it was very strange for our area!!

WOW that is big for down that way ! hehe I always run outside when it hails even tho it happens a lot here. I make my doggy come out too. He eats it. Did you guys get any snow over night or today? I was bummed to hear about the fire taking out one of my fav Astoria restaurants The CAnnery!
This hail hurt if you ran out in it! LOL! Nope, no snow – we got the big hail for about 10 minutes, and that was it.
Isn’t that crazy about the Cannery? 🙁
Hail is painful! Glad all is ok….mother nature sure is crazy this year.
OH poor you I remember those storms all too well. Now that we are Iowans it is all snow and I will say I almost miss the dreaded rain and hail. We had about 12 inches of snow last week and keep the kids home from school 3 out of 5 days. UGH.
