This is the third part of my series reviewing LifeShield Home Security system. Missed the first two posts? Read them here and here.
We’ve been using LifeShield Home Security system for several months now, and it’s integrated quite seamlessly into our day-to-day routine. The only problems we’ve run into so far are were some complications setting up the monitoring service. After the test period ended, I assumed the monitoring was working correctly since everything appeared to be working normally. However, last month I noticed that the readout on the keypad console read “Not monitored”. After looking into it, it turned out that the monitoring had actually never been activated on the system. I’m still not quite sure what exactly caused this glitch, but after I contacted LifeShield support about it we eventually got it working. I think some of the confusion may have been due to the fact that the monitoring was set up differently for me since it is a complimentary account for review purposes.
So what’s the final verdict? I love LifeShield’s features, ease of use, and protection it offers our home; it’s definitely been a great addition and asset to our property.
